Tempeh Fries

Indulgent, savory, textured and fun. A recipe for the masses, perfect choice when yearning for processed and sinful flavors.

For fries

A block of Tempeh 


2 tbsp soy sauce

peri peri masala

For peanut butter dressing

1 ½ tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

4-5 finely chopped garlic cloves

2 ½ tbsp peanut butter

1 tbsp brown sugar/ coconut sugar


  1. Cut the tempeh in length like a French fry
  2. Grease the pan and shallow fry the tempeh till they turn golden and brown and acquire crispness
  3. Add 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  4. Sprinkle peri peri masala on the tempeh and cook well
  5. For the peanut butter dressing- add 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce to a bowl, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 4-5 finely chopped garlic cloves, 2 ½ tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp brown sugar and combine
  6. Serve tempeh fries with the peanut butter dressing 
  7. Garnish with micro greens and chilli flakes
