For fries
A block of Tempeh
Oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
peri peri masala
For peanut butter dressing
1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
4-5 finely chopped garlic cloves
2 ½ tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp brown sugar/ coconut sugar
Method:
- Cut the tempeh in length like a French fry
- Grease the pan and shallow fry the tempeh till they turn golden and brown and acquire crispness
- Add 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- Sprinkle peri peri masala on the tempeh and cook well
- For the peanut butter dressing- add 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce to a bowl, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 4-5 finely chopped garlic cloves, 2 ½ tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp brown sugar and combine
- Serve tempeh fries with the peanut butter dressing
- Garnish with micro greens and chilli flakes
