- 🥄 1 tbsp oil
- 🌿 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 🧄 5-6 garlic cloves
- 🌰 2 cardamoms (elaichi)
- 🍁 1 bay leaf
- 🧅 1 large onion
- 🍅 2 finely chopped tomatoes
- 🥘 1 tsp jeera powder
- 🌶️ 1 tsp red chili powder
- 🍯 ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 🌾 ½ tsp coriander powder
- 🌱 ½ cup of green peas
- 🧂 Salt to taste
- 💡Add 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Sauté shredded tempeh till they turn golden brown. Keep aside.
- 🔥In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp finely chopped ginger, 5-6 garlic cloves finely chopped, 2 crushed cardamoms, 1 bay leaf. Sauté slightly.
- 🍲Add 1 large onion finely chopped and cook till translucent.
- 🍅Throw in 2 de-seeded and finely chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp jeera powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, salt, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, and 1/4th cup of water. Mix these well.
- 🌱Add the sautéed tempeh to the mix, ½ cup of green peas, and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
