🍽️ Ingredients List:

For the Marinade:

  • 🧂 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 🍅 1 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 🥄 1 tbsp mayonnaise/ coconut yogurt
  • 🌱 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 🧄 ½ tbsp ginger paste
  • 🧄 ½ tsp garlic paste
  • 🌱 1 tbsp spring onion greens
  • 🌻 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 🌶️ 2 tsp red chili flakes

For the Slider:

  • 🌾 A block of tempeh
  • 🌻 Oil
  • 🍞 Pav

🔪 Method:

  1. 🥣 Cut tempeh into medium-sized cubes.
  2. 🥄 In a bowl, mix soy sauce, BBQ sauce, mayonnaise or coconut yogurt, sesame seeds, ginger paste, garlic paste, spring onion greens, sesame oil, and red chili flakes. Blend with a hand blender and keep aside.
  3. 🌾 Add 3/4th of the marinade to the tempeh cubes and let sit for 4 hours.
  4. 🍳 Once marinated, shallow fry the tempeh on both sides till they are cooked well.
  5. 🥪 Fill the tempeh into a loaf of pav, and drizzle some of the marinade on top if you'd like.
